Hobbies and Interests

“I play a little guitar and I love to sing, I have always been in my school choir. I’m not hugely into sports but I do assist in coaching at my sister’s soccer league.”

“My hobbies are Magic The GatheringTM (a role playing card game), several computer games and of course my ultimate passion is REPTILES!!”

Favourite Animal

“I really got into reptile care when I started helping my mother with her snake Benny, he is a Colombian Rainbow Boa. I started to visit online groups and expos and I realized that I really wanted to get more into the lizard side of the hobby.”

Since then she has adopted two geckos that she cares for on her own and has plans to begin to breed them soon.

Pet Peeve

The number one advice she has for everyone is, “please before you get any pet do lots of detailed research! For example, if you research snake care you will want to go deeper and look up the exact type of snake, same goes for all animals.”

Each snake breed has different needs, “Benny the Boa’s care is very different from say a Western Hognose’s care. Even though they are both snakes they have different temperature and humidity requirements. You always want that feeling of confidence to keep your animals healthy and happy!”
